Re: "Do it yourself" a WWII British Airborne Jeep...
Hello Again!
The "towing triangle" hinges are the last of things i´m waiting for, from the company that have maked all my airborne parts...
http://www.ww2fabrications.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Send them a mail and ask if they can make them for you!
I´m waiting for the Rear A frame and the front towing yoke... Then i have all of that parts for the Jeep! But i haven´t found any radio Wireless set nr 22 and the (4) Wooden battery boxes and Spare valve case and remote control... Hope i will get some soon!
Thanks Göran for the pictures!!! There are so very few pictures of British Airborne Jeeps...
Best regards
Emil

The radio sets can be hard to find. The battery boxes should not be too difficult. Try eBay.

There might be additional markings on the right hand side dash: "Max T.P. 35 lbs", T.P. 35 lbs" etc....

Re: "Do it yourself" a WWII British Airborne Jeep...
Hello,
I am looking at restoring a 1943 Ford into a British Airborne Jeep, and would like some assistance if possible,
Can anyone provide the dimensions for the Bonnet(hood) rack, Wing battery boxes, and the shortened Bumper?
Any info appreciated, as Of I have not been able to find Rob van Meels book.
Cheers,
Rob McCue
